[ as an artist i draw deep inspiration from the ancient world & the persistence of our shared human experience ]
as part of this body of work , i set out to create my first set of wings to make available on a global scale
as i was crafting in the lab & the form of the wings began to take shape before me , a vision became clear in an instant ~
the dynamic motion that emerged in the sculpting of my wings’ form drew my mind directly to this renowned work by an unknown sculptor , which i had unintentionally mirrored:
in what became a modern study of the Classics , i found myself travelling through art history stylistically channeling Ancient Greek sculptural work
